Big Walk Big Makeover Achievement — How to Get Shiny

Big Makeover — listed as "Get shiny" — is Big Walk's most social achievement: one player wears the paint, another player applies it, and neither works without the other. It also hides in the one room most groups walk straight past.

Prerequisite: get into the hidden room

The shiny paint lives in the island's hidden room, tucked into the underground network — so you need the tunnel system unlocked before any of this works (that is the yellow tower's key; the tunnel basics are covered in our beginner guide).

The hidden room's entrance is easy to miss and even easier to describe badly, so we made it its own page: follow the turn-by-turn route in the hidden room location guide. Bring a lantern — the last stretch is dark.

How to unlock Big Makeover

Once you are inside the hidden room:

1. Pick up a paint stick — they sit on the right side of the room.
2. Dip it in one of the shimmer colors.
3. Have a teammate paint it onto you. The achievement needs another player to apply the coat — painting yourself does nothing.
4. Repeat three times. Three coats and Big Makeover pops.

Swap roles for a two-for-one

The paint works in both directions: if you paint a teammate instead, the achievement unlocks for them. Since the whole routine takes a couple of minutes, run it twice — one coat each way — and two players walk out shiny. A group of two is enough; a group of four just forms an orderly painting queue.

While you are in the room, remember it is also the only source of this paint — if you ever want the full achievement list finished for multiple friends, everyone makes the trip.
